I graduated from the University of Montana in Physics and Honors Mathematics. What began as a part‑time tutoring gig became a vocation—20 years and counting. My approach: consistent practice, clear steps, and a sense of humor.

My teaching philosophy is that academic excellence can be achieved through practice, dedication, and fun. We don't always have to be anxious about getting to the next level, but instead be confident, relaxed, consistent...and always have a sense of humor. What is learning without some laughter?

Students learn best when they feel comfortable. One‑on‑one, we talk about what’s happening in and out of class. In that space, strengths and gaps show up more quickly than in a group setting.

Outside tutoring, you’ll find me with my family skiing, watching baseball, motorcycle camping, and volunteering with kidney and young adult cancer patients.
